What was the situation? 

Spouses were engaged in a long-drawn out family law dispute which involved several property holdings.

The jewel in the property crown was a large-scale commercial property situated in the northwest of Melbourne, whereby one partner was managing the daily operations, to the other’s displeasure.

Given the circumstances, the Family Court of Australia made an order appointing us to manage the day-to-day affairs of the commercial property until the family law dispute was settled.

What was our strategy?

Immediately following our appointment, we took control of the commercial property and implemented a seamless system to recover the rental income, pay the relevant expenses and distribute the net rental income to the relevant stakeholders on a monthly basis.

What was the outcome?

We were able to build trust with all involved in a short period of time and manage the commercial property for a 12-month period with minimal disruption to the stakeholders until the family law matter setlled.
